Rise Mzansi announces Lukhona Mnguni as their mayoral candidate for Johannesburg

Rise Mzansi has confirmed that political commentator, Lukhona Mnguni will run as its mayoral candidate for the City Of Johannesburg.

Mnguni who is an academic and researcher in governance and developmental studies also served as the Acting Executive Director and Head of Policy and Research of the think tank group, Rivonia Circle.

The party is expected to formally unveil Mnguni at a media briefing in Johannesburg on Saturday.

Rise Mzansi will be the fifth party to unveil its candidate following the likes of the DA, Patriotic Alliance, ActionSA and IFP.
