NPA withdraws fraud and corruption charges against Khumalo, Mokwele, and others

The National Prosecuting Authority *(NPA) has formally withdrawn fraud and corruption charges against Crime Intelligence head Dumisani Khumalo, Brigadier Dineo Mokwele, and five others in the Pretoria Magistrates court.

The charges concerned Mokwele's appointment as brigadier, but Madlanga Commission evidence showed she was qualified, despite claims she was underqualified.
