Delay in announcing final World Cup squad was strategic

Bafana Bafana Coach, Hugo Broos, only informed the six players who he dropped from his provisional FIFA World Cup squad when he announced the final 26 players at the Presidential Guesthouse in Pretoria Wednesday night. He says it was the best and most professional way to approach and handle a sensitive and emotional issue. Broos was accompanied by all 32 players to the announcement, before revealing his final squad in the presence of President Cyril Ramaphosa.
