Buses, taxis carrying undocumented migrants impounded in Limpopo

Several buses and taxis have been impounded in the last few months, carrying undocumented migrants on the N1 road in Limpopo and other provinces.

Two taxis were impounded last weekend, carrying 48 undocumented Zimbabwean nationals on the N1 outside Polokwane.

The Department of Transport says only one passenger in each taxi had a valid passport.
