Families of late whistle-blowers, Jimmy Mohlala, and Sammy Mphatlanyane, have welcomed suspended Mpumalanga Police Commissioner Daphney Manamela's revelation.

Manamela yesterday claimed that top police officials had manipulated cases, including those of the two victims.

Manamela claims that this was done to protect the real perpetrators.
