1 taken to hospital after fight between elderly women at Serangoon coffeeshop

A fight between two women in their 60s at a coffee shop in Serangoon on Monday (Jun 22) left one of them in hospital.

Videos circulating online show the pair trading blows at Block 261 Serangoon Central before falling to the ground, where they continued kicking, slapping and pulling each other's hair until passers-by stepped in to break up the fight.

A 69-year-old woman was taken to hospital conscious, while a 65-year-old woman sustained minor injuries but declined to be taken to hospital.

Police told CNA that both women are assisting with ongoing investigations. #singapore #sgnews
