Workplace AI | South Africa's legal void sparks concern

There is currently limited legislation in South Africa to protect workers from job displacement or job reshaping, caused by artificial intelligence. It also remains unclear who would be held accountable in cases of biased recruitment linked to AI systems. This is according to ICT and artificial intelligence expert, Mark Walker, who spoke to SABC News as part of Workers’ Month commemorations.
