E Cape police deployed ahead of planned protests

Eastern Cape Transport and Community Safety MEC, Xolile Nqatha, says additional police officers have been deployed to identified hotspots across the province, ahead of Tuesday's expected protests. The province has already seen demonstrations against undocumented immigrants in Mdantsane, Matatiele, Mthatha and KuGompo City. Law enforcement officials say extensive operational plans have been activated to ensure public safety and maintain order. Kim Daniels reports.
