Cyber fraudsters on OLX often pose as Indian Army personnel to gain trust. Using fake IDs, transfer stories, fake payment screenshots, and QR code scams, they trick victims into sending money or handing over goods. In one such case from Tamil Nadu, a victim lost ₹88,000 before realising it was a scam.
