IPOA investigator: There is no conclusive evidence of Rex Maasai’s shooter

An investigator from the independent policing and oversight authority has told the court there is no conclusive evidence on who pulled the trigger leading to the fatal shooting of Rex Maasai in the June, 2025 anti-finance bill protests. Testifying in court, IPOA investigator Justin Nyatete was hard-pressed to explain why they failed to request CCTV footage near the scene of the incident. Details in the Scales of Justice Segment.
