Governor Simon Kachapin urges youth to lead peace building efforts

LEVERAGING PEACE FOR DEVELOPMENT

West Pokot governor Simon Kachapin has lauded the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region Youth Forum convened by the youth across the Karamoja Cluster region. Kachapin said involving young people in peace building efforts will help drive development within the region. Leaders who attended the forum challenged young people to always value peace and avoid being used in endless raids.
