Julius Mkhwanazi, Witness K back in court - 25 August 2026

Suspended Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality Police Department (EMPD) deputy chief Julius Mkhwanazi and Witness K appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court. Mkhwanazi was arrested in July 2026 for alleged involvement in the theft of precious stones worth nearly 15-million-rand in 2023.
