Gadgets to cool rooms, fast immune response test among projects on show at symposium

Researchers at the CREATE Symposium 2026 showcased innovations designed to address climate and healthcare challenges. Projects included low-cost cooling solutions that improved sleep quality for migrant workers in hot dormitories, and a rapid blood test that can detect changes in a patient's immune response within 10 minutes to support faster sepsis diagnosis.
