Meghalaya Suspends New Overseas Travel Plans #conradksangma

The Meghalaya government has suspended all new foreign travel proposals in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s austerity directive.

Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma said only those visits that had already received political and financial clearance before the announcement will continue.

Around 7–8 fresh proposals have been put on hold, including his own planned overseas visits.
