* Dozens of foreign nationals have taken to the streets in Durban after allegedly being forced out of their communities amid rising tensions in parts of the city.
The group is appealing to authorities for protection and temporary shelter.

* The North Gauteng High Court has ordered cultural activist and former radio presenter, Ngizwe Mchunu, to apologise publicly and retract statements he made about EFF leader, Julius Malema.
Mchunu allegedly accused Malema of receiving millions from 'Nigerian drug dealers' and of using his political influence to protect foreign nationals involved in crime.

* Family members of slain Bafana Bafana Captain, Senzo Meyiwa, say they don't believe the individuals currently before the court are his killers.
They have marched to the Union Buildings, calling for justice in the long-running murder case.

* President Cyril Ramaphosa has honoured distinguished South Africans and foreign nationals with National Orders, the highest civilian honour recognising outstanding achievement, acts of bravery, and contributions aimed at improving lives and advancing national prosperity.
