NFP's Mbali Shinga heads to court over expulsion

Lawyers representing KwaZulu-Natal Social Development MEC Mbali Shinga were scheduled to file papers in the Pietermaritzburg High Court on Monday, challenging her expulsion from the NFP, where she previously served as the party's provincial chairperson.

Shinga, the NFP's sole Member of the Provincial Legislature in KwaZulu-Natal, had her appeal against the expulsion dismissed over the weekend by the party's appeals tribunal.
