Mpumalanga Matric Support | Winter classes boost performance in key subjects

The Mpumalanga Education Department is targeting a 91% matric pass rate for the Class of 2026. More than 23 000 learners from underperforming schools are attending winter classes at 89 centres. High-performing teachers are supporting learners in key gateway subjects, including Maths, Physical Sciences, Accounting and Economics.
