German lawmakers called for EU sanctions on Itamar Ben-Gvir after his comments. In a podcast hosted by an Israeli taken hostage by Hamas during the October 7th terror attack, Ben-Gvir said Israel should kill up to 40 Gazans every night with targeted assassinations, adding "not just those who pose and immediate threat".
