ऐप-आधारित कर्मचारियों की सुरक्षा पर राज्यसभा में चर्चा, सरकार ने बताई अपनी नीति

The issue of India's abstention from the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Convention on Decent Work in the Platform Economy was raised by DMK MP P. Wilson, with concerns expressed over minimum standards, social security and fair working conditions for gig and platform workers.

On that, Union Minister of Labour and Employment Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya answered on the government’s stand on safeguarding the interests of app-based workers through stronger protections, improved working conditions and an appropriate policy framework for the rapidly expanding gig economy.
