North West residents register ahead of LGE 2026

Residents in the North West province made their way to registration venues, to confirm and update their details during the two day registration weekend, ahead of the November 4th election.

In Gannalagte, Tswaing Local Municipality and Lichtenburg in Ditsobotla Local Municipality, a number of residents braved cold weather conditions to visit the IEC registration centres.

Some were registering for the first time.

The province has 1,730 registration centres that were all operational.
