Colonel Gavin Jacob, commander of the Durban Serious Organised Crime Investigation Unit attached to the SAPS Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (the Hawks), testified at the Madlanga Commission today.

In his testimony, Jacob accused Major-General Hendrik Flynn of deliberately misleading the probe and constructing a "false narrative" regarding the theft of 541 kg of cocaine (worth an estimated R200 million) from Port Shepstone in June 2021
