South Africa's construction sector shows improvement

South Africa's construction sector continued to show some improvement in the first quarter of the year.

The Afrimat Construction Index shows the sector grew by 0.3% in the first quarter.

This is an increase of more than 5% year-on-year in the value of both construction works, and buildings completed.
