Trump says trade deal reached with Canada

U.S. President Donald Trump says he’s brokered a ‘very good’ trade deal with Canada and has paused the threatened 50 per cent tariffs that were set to come into effect at midnight Wednesday. In a statement, Prime Minister Mark Carney stressed that talks are still ongoing, saying ‘substantial progress has been made, although there is important work still to be done.’
