*Suspended Ekurhuleni municipal Human Resources Head Linda Gxasheka and former Municipal Manager Imogen are set to apply for bail, at the Germiston Magistrates court today.
Their arrests are linked to recommendations made by the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry, which investigated allegations of corruption, abuse of power and misconduct within the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department and the municipality.
*Residents of ward 99 in Khayelitsha On the Cape Flats, will today march to Parliament against a lack of service delivery in their areas.
The march comes on the back of a Public Protector investigation, which found that the City of Cape Town failed to deliver basic services to Langa flats and Khayelitsha in line with the law and Constitution.
*Former Public Enterprises Minister Dr Malusi Gigaba will appear in the Johannesburg Court this morning.
The case relates to the 54-billion rand Transnet corruption case.
*President Cyril Ramaphosa is in France today for a three-day visit focused on education, diplomacy and strengthening bilateral ties.
He will hold talks with French President Emmanuel Macron and senior government officials.
