Mossel Bay unrest leaves dozens displaced

The unrest in Mossel Bay, sparked by protests against undocumented immigrants, has led to the torching of at least 55 informal structures in the KwaNonqaba area.

The Mossel Bay Municipality accommodated approximately 400 displaced foreign nationals in local community halls.

Working with foreign consulates, authorities have transported over 500 Mozambican nationals home.
