Families of those missing in Nepal's devastating floods are holding on to hope as rescuers race against time to find survivors.

Nearly 1,500 people are still missing across Nepal and China's Tibet, including at least 540 foreigners.

The disaster was triggered when a wall of mud and rock crashed into a Himalayan river.
Nepal says rescue, evacuation and relief efforts are in full swing.
