Knysna shoot-out | Psychosocial support being offered to SAPS team

A police captain and a suspect have been killed in a shootout in Knysna in the Western Cape.

The 50-year-old captain was part of a Tactical Response Team deployed to the town following the recent murders of three people, including former Knysna mayor Aubrey Tsengwa.

The shootout happened during an operation at the Sewende Laan informal settlement in the early hours of this morning.
