SOMA | Midvaal to spend R41 million on roads infrastructure

Midvaal Local Municipality mayor Peter Teixeira has delivered his State of the Municipality Address framed around service delivery, financial discipline, and a municipality that, unlike many in Gauteng, carries zero debt to Eskom and Rand Water while delivering its 12th consecutive clean audit. During the speech delivered on Thursday at the Meyerton Christian Church he outlined a R41 million budget for roads and R20 million already spent electrifying the Sicelo township.
