Two more people who have been arrested in connection with the drugs bust worth 34-million-rand at the Beitbridge border post in Limpopo, are expected to appear at the Musina Magistrate's Court.
The duo are charged with dealing in drugs and money laundering.
Two Malawians were arrested in May after their truck was detected and intercepted - allegedly carrying a substance known as methaqualone, which is used in the production of mandrax.
They have abandoned bail.
Meanwhile, the state has provisionally withdrawn charges against the 3rd accused, Zambian national Thandie Phiri.
All the accused had legal travel documents during their arrest.
