States like Delhi, Kerala, and West Bengal are witnessing extremely low fertility rates, while Bihar and Uttar Pradesh still remain above average. Experts warn that India could face an “Aging Before Rich” crisis, where the country grows old before becoming fully developed. Even Elon Musk has expressed concern over India’s falling birth rate and changing population trends.
