* Self-proclaimed political fixer Brown Mogotsi is back in the Johannesburg Magistrates' Court.
The defence is expected to consult with Mogotsi on video footage and witness statements obtained from the State.
* National Coloured Congress leader and Member of Parliament, Fadiel Adams is expected to return to the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry this morning.
He is expected to face further questions about his role in the investigation of senior Crime Intelligence officials.
* The decision on the bail application by suspended EMPD Deputy Chief Julius Mkhwanazi and five co-accused is expected to be delivered on today.
The six are facing charges of murder and defeating the ends of justice, in connection with the April 2022 murder of businessman Emmanuel Mbense
* Intense rainfall and mudslides devastated northern Chile's Tocopilla region, leaving 724 people in emergency shelters and damaging approximately 60% of local homes.
No fatalities or serious injuries were reported, though residents described losing homes and possessions.
* Comrades Marathon Association chair Mark Leathers insists the association remains committed to engaging Athletics SA with regards to a feud between the two parties.
This has resulted in the national federation formally distancing itself from next year's centenary race.
