#WATCH | MEA Secretary (West), Sibi George highlighted the growing influence of Yoga and Ayurveda as key pillars of India's cultural outreach, noting that the India-Slovakia partnership in the field of Ayurveda received a significant boost with the signing of an MoU during the visit.

He underscored that Yoga has become a global phenomenon since the United Nations adopted June 21 as the International Day of Yoga in 2014, with celebrations now taking place across the world. Praising the increasing popularity of Yoga in Slovakia, he noted that more Slovaks are embracing the practice as part of their daily lives, reflecting a deeper appreciation for India's wellness traditions.

He described the Ayurveda MoU and the expanding interest in Yoga as important milestones in strengthening people-to-people ties between India and Slovakia, while expressing optimism for the upcoming International Day of Yoga celebrations on June 21, which are expected to further deepen cultural engagement between the two nations.
