Madlanga Commission Wrap | Maj-Gen Senona 'knew' poor state of facility used to store R200M cocaine

The Madlanga Commission shifted its focus this week to illicit drugs looking at cocaine.

This after the June 2021 KZN drug bust of 541kg of cocaine worth R200 million would become very relevant to the work of the Commission.

The drugs would later get stolen under the watch of KZN Hawks Head, Major-General Lesetja Senona, who authorised the transfer of the drugs to a facility that did not meet the standards to house high value cocaine.
