Western Cape Storms | Some residents evacuated due to bad weather

The Head of Department at the Western Cape Department of Local Government, Graham Paulse tells SABC News that Disaster Management teams are on high alert in preparation for adverse weather conditions.

This follows warnings by the South African Weather Service of more severe weather to hit the region

He says about a third of roads in the province remain closed due to damage caused by severe weather conditions last month.
