Raging floods, steep cliffs: Chinese rescuers inch toward Gyirong Port

Rescue teams rushed to the scene after a mudslide on the Nepal side of the border on August 26 caused heavy casualties and left people missing near Gyirong Port in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region.

With steep cliffs on one side and raging floodwaters surging on the other, Chinese rescuers are working around the clock to clear access and support ongoing efforts, racing against time to reach those in need.
