Zero-tariff policy allows more Egyptian strawberries to enter China

It may come as a surprise to a lot of people that Egypt is a top exporter of frozen strawberries. Now China is becoming a top buyer. Since May 1, 2026, China scrapped tariffs on imports from Egypt, lowering the cost of market access. Yasser Hakim and Chen Tong file this report from the two countries.
