Nurses strike to continue as no deal has been reached on CBA

Talks between the Council of Governors and the nurses union have hit a snag prolonging the health crisis that has affected facilities in all counties. Kenya National Union of Nurses and Midwives Union Secretary General Seth Panyako has announced that the strike, now in its 5th week, would continue despite striking a consensus with the COG on the issuance of Permanent and Pensionable letters to Universal Health Coverage Staff. The bone of contention is the implementation of their Collective Bargaining Agreement.
