El Nino Preparedness I National and County Governments activate 7 key measures

The national and county governments are stepping up preparations ahead of the October to December El Niño rains expected to bring above-normal rainfall across most parts of the country. In a statement, the Ministry of Interior says authorities have activated 7 key measures, including mapping flood hotspots, clearing drainage systems and strengthening early warning, as they seek to minimize the impact on communities.
