Madlanga Commission wants independent medical practitioner to assess Khan's medical condition

Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga has ordered that Major-General Feroz Khan's medical condition be disclosed, without revealing specific details, following a similar order issued to Suliman Carrim.

His legal team is resisting the Commission's push for an independent medical examination.

Still with the Commission, Former Hawks head Lieutenant-General Godfrey Lebeya took the stand.

Lebeya told the Commission that he did not investigate former KwaZulu-Natal Hawks head, Major-General Lesetja Senona, because he viewed him as a complainant in the seized R200 million cocaine, stored in the Hawks' Port Shepstone offices, in 2021.
