DA wants accountability over R52.8m allegedly spent on MP crime prevention warders

The DA wants heads to roll over the R52.8 million spent on inactive Crime Prevention Warders in Mpumalanga.

The party has called on Premier Mandla Ndlovu to act against the provincial Department of Community Safety, for wasteful and fruitless expenditure.

1 200 Crime Prevention Warders are reportedly being paid to sit at home, months after they were removed from police stations.
