Massive fuel price increases from midnight

South Africans are bracing for a massive financial blow as the Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources implements major fuel price increases.

Driven by intensifying geopolitical conflicts in the Middle East, and a surge in global Brent crude oil prices to $91 a barrel, petrol grades 93 and 95 will shoot up by R1.34 per litre.
