MP David Pkosing installed as Pokot Community Kingpin

Pokot South Member of Parliament David Pkosing has been installed as the Pokot community's spokesperson and kingpin in a rare traditional ceremony. The event characterized by blessings and prayers known as Alem, was conducted over the weekend before sunrise at Lengorok shrine in Pokot North Sub-County. Elders from the Pokot community performed traditional rituals to confer leadership responsibilities on the legislator to lead the community with dignity and care at all times.
