As capital goes back to normal, Niger downplays soldiers' mutiny • FRANCE 24 English

Niger's capital is back to normal after an intense week-end. A soldier mutiny took over Niamey on August 29, which was stopped by the army alongside the Russian paramilitary Africa Corps. The next day, Algeria sent four fighters aircrafts and two other military planes as cooperation with Nigeria is recently back on : an unexpected decision. Since it got independence, Algeria's non intervention doctrine is part of its DNA. FRANCE 24's Harold Girard tells us more about the goal of this decision.
