‘We’re coming to get them: Rescuers pin hopes on underground spaces after deadly Nepal floods

Nepal's rescue teams, helped by Chinese and Indian experts, stepped up efforts to reach hundreds of people believed to be stuck inside blocked hydropower project tunnels in the aftermath of last week's Himalayan flood. Australian geologist and tunnel expert Arnold Dix, who is assisting Nepali authorities with rescue efforts, tells CNA’s Asia First why rescuers are pinning their hopes on large underground powerhouse areas in the search for workers missing at the Trishuli 3A hydropower project.
