'Keffe D' Davis found guilty in Tupac’s murder

Nearly three decades after Tupac Shakur was gunned down in Las Vegas, a jury has found Duane "Keffe D" Davis guilty of first-degree murder in the killing of the rap icon. Davis — the only person ever charged in the case — was accused of orchestrating the September 1996 drive-by shooting, rather than firing the fatal shots himself.

The jury deliberated for less than three hours before returning its verdict. Shakur was 25 when he died. US Correspondent Sherwin Bryce-Pease reports that the trial had been expected to last as long as six weeks, but testimony wrapped up after just nine days, with jurors taking less than three hours to reach a guilty verdict.
