Thembi Simelane holds empowering talks with women

Minister of Human Settlements, Thembi Simelane, is wrapping up the 2026 Women's Month programme with a Women in Human Settlements Sector Dialogue.

The event provides an evidence-based platform to reflect on progress, recognise achievements, and strengthen commitments towards women's economic empowerment in the human settlements sector.

SABC News Anchor, Bongiwe Zwane, was there.

She spoke to Black Business Council Chairperson, Hlami Ndlovu, about the challenges and opportunities facing women in the sector.
