* Political parties have reacted to an urgent application filed by President Cyril Ramaphosa calling for a stay of the Impeachment process. The establishment of the committee is the result of a Constitutional court judgment that Parliament must establish an Impeachment Committee where Ramaphosa may have a case to answer regarding the foreign currency stolen from his Phala Phala farm.

* The Office of KwaZulu-Natal Premier Thami Ntuli says he is leading diplomatic engagements to help undocumented migrants in the province to return to their countries of origin.

* The Madlanga Commission has warned Gauteng Traffic Police Chief Inspector, Samuel Mashaba that unlike in a court of law, a commission of inquiry doesn't prove evidence beyond a reasonable doubt, but that it considers evidence and explores all matters before drawing conclusions.

* Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said last night that the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the United States to end the war could take place within the next few days. In an interview, Iran's Foreign Minister said if finalised, the MoU will be signed digitally by both sides in their respective countries and then announced.

* The South African women's team take on Australia in Manchester in their opening match at the Women's T20 World Cup. The Australians have won the cup a record six times.
