Kaluma, Otuoma appear before NCIC over remarks linked to political tensions

Homa Bay town member of parliament Peter Kaluma and Busia governor Paul Otuoma have appeared before the National Cohesion and Integration Commission after they were summoned over their remarks that have been considered to border on hate speech.

peaking to KBC Channel One after the meeting, Kaluma maintained his innocence but said he has presented his case which the commission will examine before it makes a decision. Otuoma however declined to speak to the media immediately after his grilling. NCIC has promised to deliver its verdict in a week's time.
