DP Kindiki calls for end to nurses and midwives strike

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has called for a quick resolution to the ongoing nurses’ strike, saying the industrial action is disrupting the delivery of essential health services across the country. Kindiki has urged the Council of Governors, the Kenya National Union of Nurses and Midwives, and the Salaries and Remuneration Commission to resolve outstanding issues and pave the way for the resumption of services.
