The government has reaffirmed its commitment to standardizing and integrating traditional medicine into the country's primary healthcare system. During the commemoration of African Traditional Medicine Day 2026 at Kenya Medical Research Institute KEMRI Headquarters, Cabinet Secretary for Health Aden Duale emphasized that while the government has a duty to preserve indigenous knowledge, patients' and public safety remains paramount.
